Summary:
Tuesday- Fed steers and heifers sold actively at prices $3-5 higher. Choice steers and heifers 224.00 – 239.00. Second cut cattle 215.00 – 223.00. Aged & medium fed steers & heifers 198.00 – 214.00. Holstein steers & heifers 145.00 – 196.00. Cows sold actively at stronger prices.
Thursday- Veal sold $3-5 higher. Lambs sold steady. Sheep sold steady. Goats sold slightly lower.
Friday- Light calves sold $5-10 higher. Yearlings sold steady to last weeks high market.
Heifers:
Art Bos of Blyth consigned 2 head. 1 pied heifer weighed 1210 lbs and sold for a price of 239.00.
Steers:
Bill Vanstraaten of Stratford consigned 7 head. 1 red steer weighed 1585 lbs and sold for a price of 232.00.
